EatSmart Precision Pro Giveaway

After more than six years of writing about food and experimenting in the kitchen, I’ve picked up plenty of useful tips—and one of the most practical tools I’ve adopted is a kitchen scale. Reading other blogs and testing different approaches convinced me a scale is worth the small investment, especially for home bakers and anyone who wants consistent results.

A few years back I chose the EatSmart Precision Pro Multifunction Digital Kitchen Scale after researching features and user reviews. It has proven reliable and convenient: compact enough to store in a drawer, accurate for small and larger measurements, and affordably priced.

For the average home cook, these are the features I look for in a kitchen scale:

  • Measurement units in grams, ounces, kilograms, and pounds
  • Fast, consistent accuracy
  • Tare function to zero out bowls or containers
  • Auto-off to preserve battery life
  • Non-slip feet so it stays steady on the counter
  • Budget-friendly price

The Precision Pro delivers on all of those. If you’re not familiar with the tare function, it’s a simple but essential feature: place a bowl or container on the scale, press the tare button, and the display resets to zero so you can weigh only the ingredient. That keeps the scale clean and gives you precise measurements without extra math.

I rely on my scale frequently when baking. I weigh cookie dough portions for uniform size and even baking, measure individual loaves or dough portions for consistent crumb and bake times, and weigh flour and other ingredients when recipes specify grams. Using weight instead of volume yields more reproducible results, especially for delicate recipes. Over the years this scale has held up well through regular use.

Beyond baking, a scale is a great tool for anyone tracking portions or calories. This particular model is sold with a small EatSmart Calorie Factors booklet, which can help with portion control and basic calorie estimation—useful if you’re watching intake or planning meals more precisely.

I’m excited that EatSmart generously provided two Precision Pro scales for readers. Below are the official giveaway rules and entry instructions.
