This is muffins made ridiculously simple. You need only three ingredients:

  1. Banana nut muffin mix (two pouches)
  2. Milk (1 cup)
  3. Prepared cream cheese frosting

Mix the muffin mix with milk according to the pouch directions — we used mixes that call only for milk. Pour the batter into a 9×9 baking dish coated with non‑stick spray, bake, let it cool slightly, then finish with a thin layer of warmed cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients

  • Two 7.6 oz banana nut muffin mix pouches
  • 1 cup milk
  • Prepared cream cheese frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×9-inch baking dish with non‑stick cooking spray.
  3. Stir together the two muffin mix pouches and 1 cup milk until combined; pour the batter into the prepared dish.
  4. Bake 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool slightly.
  6. Microwave about 1/3 cup prepared cream cheese frosting at 50% power for 30 seconds, or until pourable.
  7. Pour or spread the warmed frosting over the cake and let it set before slicing.
  8. Slice and top with fresh banana slices and toasted walnuts, if desired.
