On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m prioritizing mostly newer spots, but a few familiar favorites still deserve a mention. Even if I’ve eaten at them before, they feel new to many valley residents and belong on this list. Today’s pick is a staple: I grabbed a breakfast burrito from Beaumont and knew it had to be included.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you spend time in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is an excellent place to fuel up before adventures. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. While many drive-through burritos from Mexican spots are tasty, they can be heavy and greasy, which isn’t ideal before a long day of physical activity. Beaumont strikes a better balance.

Beaumont’s burrito is filled with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn and bell peppers. What truly elevates it, though, is the sauce. A great breakfast burrito often comes down to the sauce, and the creamy tomatillo esc dressing gives this one a bright, flavorful finish.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers more than just a standout breakfast burrito. They serve excellent coffee and pastries and even a delicious burrata salad. Beaumont is a reliable spot for both grab-and-go mornings and relaxed sit-down visits. A quick note: great food attracts crowds, and Beaumont can be busy on weekends. If you only want coffee and pastries, you can usually grab them quickly or use the drive-through. If you plan to sit and enjoy the patio or the attractive interior, expect a short wait on weekend mornings.
Beaumont is worth visiting for the convenience, fresh ingredients, and thoughtful flavors—especially that tomatillo dressing that ties everything together.
